LandscapingNature Reimagined

Tropical planting, stone driveways, swimming pools, and sit-outs, designed to hold up well in Kerala's weather.

Our approach

We treat the garden as another room of the house. Our landscaping is planned to leave the land healthier than we found it.

Planting with structure

We choose plants with strong shapes that suit the lines of your building.

Indoors to outdoors

Rooms open onto the garden with no awkward break in levels, materials, or views.

Low-care gardens

We plant mixed groups of local species, so the garden needs less upkeep and fills out year by year.

Climate

Gardens engineered for the monsoon.

We design outdoor spaces around the natural slope and drainage of the site. Kerala's monsoon calls for engineered drainage and plants that can handle both high humidity and hot summers.

For paths and walls we prefer natural stone: Laterite (Vettu Kallu), Sadahalli Granite, and Kota Slate. We lay it with permeable joints so rainwater soaks back into the ground, which keeps the soil healthy and stops water pooling.

Standards

Outdoor engineering standards.

Outdoor work has to survive every season. These are the standards we build to.

Drainage layers
Geotextile fabric behind retaining walls, with perforated pipes to carry mud away during heavy monsoon rain.
Pool shells
Reinforced concrete shells (M25 grade minimum) with elastomeric waterproofing membranes.
Permeability
Driveway pavers laid over coarse aggregate bedding, so no water collects on the surface.
Electrical safety
IP68-rated waterproof outdoor junctions, underground armoured cables, and dedicated residual-current circuit breakers (RCBOs).
Completed projects

Start with the site.

Every garden begins with a site survey. Our landscape architects check levels and soil before they draw anything.
